The truth is, there is actually no difference between our meditation practice and our everyday life.
While you do something, say making tea for four of us, if you fix your mind on that activity, the quality of your state of mind is the activity itself.
It is a calm state of mind. In calmness, there is activity and in activity there is calmness. That is a reflection of the very quality of our being. Calmness and activity are just two interpretations of the same thing. Meditation and life are two interpretation of the same one fact. Zen practice and day to day life are one fact.
It needs a very healthy mental state. It has features like owning responsibility, being truthful to the realities of our life, and a commonsense to give our time to our precious life.
